Operations Specialist 1st Shift

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Compensation: $16 to $20 Hourly

This position is responsible for supporting pharmaceutical distribution and repackaging medications through stocking, assembling/filling, and distributing/shipping medications. Positions available:

Pharmaceutical Repackaging Associate

  • Repackage pharmaceuticals from bulk to unit of use packaging in accordance with FDA guidelines.
  • Will provide on-the-job training! No experience required.
  • Must be attentive to detail*

Distribution and Warehouse Associate

  • Pick, pack, and ship large pharmacy orders
  • If you like to be moving around and do not enjoy a desk job, this could be a great fit for you!

Certified Pharmacy Technician

  • If you are interested in an exciting career as a certified Pharmacy Technician, there is on the job training and growth opportunities for interested candidates.

 

Collaboration

  • Collaborates with team to accomplish daily shipping goals
  • Consults regularly with the Warehouse team for the purpose of expediting the processing of orders.

 

You will learn:

  • Pharmacology Basics; Generic and brand names, therapeutic equivalence, drug interactions, strengths/dose, common and sever side or adverse effects, therapeutic contradictions associated with medications
  • Medication Safety
  • Pharmacy Quality Assurance
  • Medication Order Entry and Fill Process
  • Verbal Communication / Effective Telephone Communication techniques/etiquette
  • Commitment to Client Services and Patient-Centered Care
  • High Standards of Professionalism, Responsibility and Ethics

 

Education, Licensure, Credentials and Experience:

  • Highschool Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Will provide on the job training to obtain Pharmacy Technician Certification, if desired

 

Employment Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Demonstrate efficiency and accuracy at all times

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical standing for most of the shift, bending, lifting, stretching
  • Must be able to lift up to 15-30 pounds at times.
