Important Information on Industry Outage

Northwind Pharmaceuticals wants to make you aware of an industry outage of a third-party company that may impact the ability of retail pharmacies to process claims for you. Northwind’s home delivery pharmacy does NOT utilize this software and is currently able to process claims without delay. If you currently have a prescription at Northwind pharmacy, you will not be impacted by this disruption.

If you currently have a prescription at a retail pharmacy, please see the following options to proactively get your prescriptions filled:

Independent pharmacies appear to be less impacted. Locate a pharmacy in your area by using the pharmacy finder (instruction located HERE). You can then call these pharmacies in your community to see if they can process prescriptions.
Northwind Pharmacy can mail your prescription to you. Have your doctor send us your prescriptions as soon as possible.
Pay cash for your prescriptions if it is affordable, and then submit THIS form for reimbursement.

The Indiana Teamsters Health Benefits Fund wants to ensure you have access to the medications you take every day. If you choose Northwind Pharmacy for home delivery, your 90-day supply prescriptions offer a copay discount. Sign up for home delivery with auto-refills today by having your provider send prescriptions directly to Northwind Pharmacy.

Specialty Pharmacy

Specialty medications require prior authorization before they will be covered by the benefit plan. For medications that qualify, you may be able to received your specialty medication at low or no cost to you.
