This summer, Northwind Pharmaceuticals entered into a partnership with MDScripts to bring their medication dispensing software to existing and future Northwind clinic customers.  As the regulatory world becomes more complex and clinic needs follow, it only made sense to partner with a “best-in-class” solution to make sure our customers had access to the right tools to help them serve their customers.

Since we aligned our organization with MDScripts, McKesson/PSS announced their decision to exit the clinic dispensing market ( McKesson, PSS & DSI – Change Is Here ) and proceeded to displace nearly 2600 dispensing clinics.  Well, we’ve been busy with our partners at MDScripts!  The good news is that, teamed with MDScripts, we’ve been able to offer a smooth transition path for McKesson/ PSS customers who are looking for software and prepackaged medications ( PSS/DSI Dispensing Clinics Lifeline – We’re Here to Help! ).

The bottom line is that this partnership is a huge benefit to our pharmaceutical dispensing clinics. Our customers will gain the compliance and patient support inherent in the MDScripts system as well as a closer tie to Northwind products and fulfillment.   For more information on what to look for in a system, please start with this post: A Simple Guide to Clinics Dispensing Software – Part I.
